Otaku Fellowship Society

Thank you to all of our artists and vendors, attendees, our performers, our Voice Actors, our panelists, and all of our other special guests. We would also like to thank the Hilton for accommodating us over the weekend and working with us to put on our first convention held off of the OLLU campus after 10 years of being at the Lake.

We would like to take this time to let you know that we have heard your feedback and will work to make changes so that we can put on a bigger and better show for you all. We recognize our shortcomings and will work to grow from them so that we can put on an event worthy of our attendees.

We are no longer affiliated with GaMExpo but we wish them well. For those of you who enjoyed the gaming opportunities, please note that while we will continue to be a convention focused on Japanese animation and culture, we will be integrating some gaming opportunities into future events.

We couldn’t do any of this without you, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON MIZUUMI-CON:

The past nine years have been the greatest adventure of our lives! Since Zero Day Anime, our primary goal was to put on an event for you, our fans, which we put our very hearts and souls into.

Some of us staff members started as friends, a lot of us started off as strangers, but throughout this amazing adventure we’ve become a family.

A lot of you guys have asked if this is the last Mizuumi-Con and we’ve been very secretive (for a good reason of course!). As it was mentioned on Geek Out SA, yes, this past year was the final Mizuumi-Con. From here on out, we have left OLLU with Chibi Mizuumi, a scaled back version of Mizuumi-Con that will be run by the Mizuumi Anime Club. Although our staff is sad to leave it behind, we have faith that the Anime Club will succeed in all of their endeavors!

Our staff will begin putting their efforts into a new project as we have begun the re-branding process! This rebirth is why we decided to use the slogan “The Final Chapter of the first volume.”

Whether you’ve been a part of us since ZDA, or this past year was your first time being with us, we would like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this journey! Thank you for loving us as much as we love you!

We can’t wait to see you guys at some of our events, like our brand new convention OtakuFair coming the 4th quarter of 2017.

In the name of the moon, we’ll give you a con!
